The University of Melbourne, in collaboration with Praxhub, will be hosting an online small group learrning program for up to 30 General Practitioners.
Starting on Monday 31 July, each week, for 6 weeks, you will be invited to watch a short video presentation followed by an opportunity to have your questions answered in an online discussion forum.
The program will be facilitated by experienced GP-educator, A/Prof Ralph Audehm, and questions answered by a panel of experts with a special interest in bone medicine.

Develop a plan consistent with Healthy Bones Australia guidelines for investigating osteoporosis and low-trauma fracture to optimise patients bone health.

Design a structured procedure for monitoring osteoporosis in primary care.

Implement an efficient and evidence-based translation of Healthy Bones Australia guidelines via active discussion of case studies and hot topics to treat osteoporosis in primary care and prevention of fragility fractures.

Distinguish difficult-to-manage cases of osteoporosis and relevant osteoporosis risk factors.

The University of Melbourne is an RACGP accredited provider under the RACGP CPD Program.
