Acne is a common reason for presentation in general practice. Yet, recognising when hormonal factors are driving the condition, or when hormonal therapy should be considered, is challenging.¹ As evidence supporting hormonal treatments for acne accumulates,²⁻³ GPs need a practical, evidence-based approach for managing acne.
