Mycosis Fungoides (MF)
Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and represents a significant diagnostic challenge. Its early signs – including scaly patches, plaques, or persistent rashes – can closely resemble more common benign skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis. This overlap often contributes to delayed diagnosis, leading to ongoing symptoms, patient distress, and a considerable impact on quality of life.
In Australia, the age-standardised incidence of CTCL is estimated at 7.7 per million people per year, with MF and Sézary syndrome (SS) combined accounting for more than half of all cases.¹
This educational webinar, led by Dr Jillian Wells, will provide practical guidance on the diagnosis and management of MF in clinical practice. The session will explore current treatment approaches, with a particular focus on the use of chlormethine gel, and will include real-world case discussions to translate evidence into practice.
By enhancing recognition and understanding of MF, clinicians can help shorten the diagnostic journey and improve outcomes for patients living with this chronic condition.
