About this education
Since the launch of the updated Australian Asthma Handbook, the National Asthma Council Australia has continued to support healthcare professionals in translating the latest evidence-based recommendations into everyday clinical practice.
This interactive webinar will centre on the updated approach to asthma diagnosis across different age groups, including adults, adolescents and children. A brief summary of the key changes to asthma management will be provided, followed by a focus on diagnosis: recognising clinical patterns, choosing appropriate investigations, interpreting lung function, and establishing an accurate diagnosis across different age groups, with opportunities to ask practical questions about spirometry and FeNO.
Led by a multidisciplinary panel of Australia's leading asthma experts, the session will work through diagnostic decision-making, the most significant guideline updates and real-world patient scenarios, helping primary care clinicians accurately diagnose asthma and confidently apply the recommendations within clinical practice
