About this education

This interactive panel discussion gives GPs, nurses and pharmacists practical guidance on diagnosing and managing asthma in children, aligned with the National Asthma Council’s updated Australian Asthma Handbook guidelines.

Since the updated Handbook was released, the National Asthma Council Australia has been supporting health professionals to implement the new paediatric asthma guidelines in everyday practice.

This highly interactive webinar focuses on asthma in children aged 1–5 and 6–11 years, highlighting age‑specific diagnostic challenges and management considerations. Australia’s paediatric asthma experts unpack the new guidelines through real patient scenarios, helping you translate the guidance into primary care practice for children and families living with asthma.

Ideal for GPs, nurses and pharmacists, this session will strengthen your practical skills in diagnosing and managing asthma in children and communicating management changes with parents and caregivers.
